We stayed at Achloist for 5 nights in September and had an amazing time. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The views from the windows were absolutely beautiful. The comfortable beds provided much-needed relief for my back problem. The owners thoughtfully supplied all the essential items, from towels to toiletries. We especially enjoyed cozying up next to the fireplace after a long day of hiking. Emma went above and beyond by arranging postage for the items we left behind, and we loved being able to purchase fresh eggs from local vendors. It truly was the perfect place to reset ourselves.

Sitting by the fireplace after a long hike is a cozy experience. the option to buy fresh eggs from local people adds a delightful touch.

The only small inconvenience was the lack of a clothes drying rack for rainy days.

The shop in the village had very limited stock, so make sure to come prepared with enough food for at least the first day. there was no clothes drying rack available, which was a bit inconvenient when it was raining outside.

Self check-in and check-out went smoothly. Spacious bedrooms for at least 5 people. Comfy beds. Well-equipped kitchen, including a washing machine. Nice view of the lake and surrounding area. Great location for walks and seeing wildlife.

The house is spacious with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. the view of the lake and croft from the house is beautiful. the location is perfect for walks in the Drumbeg area, with opportunities to spot deer, seals, and a variety of birds. It is a quiet and peaceful location, ideal for a reset.
